Most programming boxes are 35-50$ and do one thing program your esc.

40$ walmart tablet and a free app from tekin (i am assuming it will be free), AND you have a device, not just a box you use once a week TOPS.

Good job Tekin, I am glad you went this way, as it shows you are looking after the consumer in the long run!

To the OP, please develop all of the facts, before bashing a company with such a great reputation. In the end, you are the fool.

You can program most of the rs pro from the buttons on the device also.

Ok I have a $40 android device and its a piece of garbage in comparison to an iPhone, iPad, other smart phone, etc. I certainly won't be using it for anything other than programming Tekin ESCs.

Once you've updated your RS Pro to the latest software, it too has these profiles.

Doesn't make sense, please feel free to find anything I say that attacks a companies policies, or procedures. If I don't agree with a companies policy, I will go to the company directly.

I run only apple devices also, Iphone's, Ipads, Ipad mini, imac and mac book pro. I wont buy a PC or a net book simply to run my hotwire. I dont mine spending $40-50 bucks for a cheap tablet in order to use my hotwire. It wont be used for anything else which is ok but i see the OP's point ans well and Grandturks. Long live APPLE!!! lol

I didn't see anyone mention WHY you would want to spend 40-50$ on a cheap android device and not just a programming box.

UPDATES is why!

Most tracks or something near them have WIFI these days. Most programming boxes aren't updateable without sending them in.

How many people complain about a "tekin program box", all your whining and b******g isn't going to make them produce one, they're obviously successful with what they're doing so far

I Know speed passion box are updated on the computer, not sure about Orion or viper, I know Orion is like 80 bucks for their box.

Again I prefer apple products. I have a PC here at work and I can always use someone else PC at the track but I shouldn't have to.

Wifi is not something most of the local track near me have.

10-4 to that, don't know why this is so hard to understand. See post #9 from Randy if you need it explained again.
