Default Trackstar esc problems

Hi,

My Turnigy Trackstar 60amp esc is brilliant, but the punch control doesn't seem to be working properly . It doesn't limit the acceleration, it just seems to not react as quickly.
So with 100% punch control, very limited acceleration, i press the trigger on the throttle and it takes 2 secs to move, and then flips itself over.
With 10% punch control, high acceleration, i press the trigger on the throttle and it reacts instantly.... and flips itself over
anyway, this is the esc, it has a 90amp burst current

Turnigy Trackstar 1/10 scale 60A brushless car esc version 2

it is paired with a turnigy trackstar 3900kv brushless motor, 540 size, sensorless, a perfect match. It's max current is 41amps, and it is almost brand new. So that seems fine, it even beeps with the esc when i turn it on.

I have this reciever, but a slightly older version

Absima CR2S V2 2 channel blah blah blah

and if you must know, i have a turnigy servo that works fine.
my vehicle is a Tamiya Desert Gator, when i was first into the hobby. Yes it has upgrades such as shocks and stuff, but none of it should affect the motor or esc. I am hoping to get this problem fixed before i upgrade the diff with a hop up part from 3racing, in about a month.

And i can't post any links yet as i need to post more threads aparrently, I am sorry about that.

Thanks, and please help.

Default punch control

On a hobbywing based esc, the punch control is an amp limitier. that's why it spools slower. less amps, less go quickly. It doesn't limit speed, just how fast it gets there. You use it on slick surface, so it's not such a handful off the corners

Default try

try to reset your end points and then add expo to the radio to mellow out the middle of the throttle travel. should make it more controlable

Default expo

expo is where you streach out how fast the reaction curve moves up with movement of the trigger or steering wheel. It sounds also like your having issue with endpoint adjust ment. Your also saying your having problems with how sensorless systems respond. They don't move the go uncontrollably hard all at once.

The punch works the wrong way on this esc, 10% is full punch and 100% is "no" punch.
Had one myself and it is not very smooth on the throttle..
