$185 for the combo, Nice.
Looks like its going to be a great ESC for the Blinky class. Only think missing is the 7.4v BEC , but you don't really need this in stock buggy and truck anyway.

I dont really care much for boost. It has its place on on high bite and onroad, so I like this idea. My only issues with this spec esc is the 13.5 limit. Orion and a few others make stock spec esc's but they often go down to 9.5 turns. So you can run a mild mod if you like.

I always run boost, it lets me run a 9.5 in 2Mod so the bottom end is easier to hang onto but it still winds out on the straight like a full mod motor.

I understand that Ty, I have tried it on most of of the popular esc's and it just feels uneven.

How long will datalogging record? Does it record only max values or will it record to a graph showing values @ certain times and load?

The time it records depends on how many parameters you have set to record and the sample rate. Once the memory is full, it stops recording any further. It records on a graph and yes it shows time.

So what's the time for the maximum variables and sample rate?

Very nice! I just sold both of my RS pro's and am waiting for my speed passion to come in, if I in turn do not like it, i will be going back to tekin and this spec esc.

About 2-3 minutes if you're recording everything. I usually only record ESC temp, Motor Temp and Batt Voltage.

Looking over the specs again I see that it only has 3.7amp BEC. This may be a little concerning to SAVOX servo owners. I guess we will see if there are any Brownout issues.

It's better that the previous generation at 3a. I ditched savox servos, as I had nothing but trouble with them and never looked back.

This will be perfect for my TLR 22 2.0 build! No use for a 7.4 BEC and I run Futaba so brownout isn't an issue for me even with the Castle ESCs I have in my bashers.
