Default Best 1/8 shock absorbers?

In a few words, what is your opinion of the best performing 1/8 offroad shock absorbers today....and why? Please note: quality of materials, performance and of course...reliability. I am interested in your experiences with "......" brand suspension..

Apparently it's Kyosho, even pro's from all manufacturers use them.

the AE shocks are pretty decent, although I do use Kyosho springs.

No experience with them but I would expect those CSI shocks to be up in the list especially for the price

I've run with a few guys from CSI and their buggies looked pretty dialed....

Around here, one of our top drivers runs K-car shocks and the other, I think runs HotBodies. I don't think he's swapped them out to another brand.

yea I was looking into em and even thought to see if any if them would fit my tekno since the teknos run 16mm shocks, the tekno shocks are good but if there's a big improvement with those shocks...why not?

Right of the shocks that I have had my hands on the best in opinion would be tekno and xray. I feel they go together smoother and don't loose the "set up" as fast as other brands.

I have used Losi 8t , x ray , ofna , and associated shocks . I put xray shocks on my losi and my sc8e . They build up well , dont leak , the plastic is awesome on the bottoms and they have always seemed very smooth to me . They have a 10 hole 1.1 mm piston in the stock piston parts bag which I really like to use . They are actually pretty reasonable price wise online too.
