Team Losi 1/8 scale buggy
#32
if losi brings out an 8th scale buggy, i will be in line waiting for it. I have raced losi products since the JR-lxt truck. Well before the xx buggy/truck; hell i remember when they were released, i was one of the first in vegas to get a xx buggy.

Same here, I tried electric for a while when it was big in my area and Losi was the only real choice. The B3 was the only alternative buggy and it was never without problems. I actually started with a FT T3 and after several very frustrating weeks that included some local AE fast guys giving my truck the seal of approval as a very nice T3, I tried a Losi and never looked back. I had always loved 8th buggy and when 8th started catching on electric started falling off at around the same time and I moved back to 8th and not long after that MT. I have not raced electric since 2400's were the hot ticket, but I still have quite a supply of Losi stuff to include a standard XXXT as well as an MF edition of same. My 12 year old nephew got an XXXT RTR last christmas and I have recently dusted off my MF edition and we run together whenever the opportunity presents itself. Kind of makes we wish for a local revival of electric truck, but so far no luck.

I'm sure it is true, but prolly won't see any pics till like christmas time, and then it won't be out till spring if they really are working on it now.

Sounds pretty cool. My personal experience has been that although Losi can take a while to release something, it is always been out on the date they stated and it has been at bare minimum very good. Sportwerks was more aimed to be an Entry to Intermediate level line, I'm sure Losi's would be more high end. As far as Associated not coming out with one... I don't see what TT would have to do with it. Although they do own AE (deal is almost complete from what I understand), the companies are run completely independant of each other. If anything the only part of TT that AE may benefit from is the financial backing for development. There hasn't and won't be one change at AE due to the buy out. 1/8 is certainly one of the fastest growing sectors in offroad and I wouldn't be suprised to see something in the future. I remeber a day when I would've sworn up and down that AE would never have a Sport line and now look at them! Yes, TT is part of it (MGT) but it more becuase of a want to broaden their horizon (no pun intended). I like seeing both Losi and AE working on new stuff instead of just refining what they're already into.

I say let them take all the time they need. They have been releasing true quality with the last few cars. MF2, AD2, JRX-S, and this car is a new project all its own. I personally cant wait but greatness cant be rushed!

Yeah,They need to take their time since the 1/8 scale market is so competitive.
