Default Fantom lipos

Fantom is having a sale on lipos . http://www.fantomracing.com/products...+Battery+Packs anybody Try these how are they ?

They are the lipos I use. I run stock 17.5 and I have had no problems with lipos or motors.

I know they are made by smc and I haven't had allot of luck with them . My revtech packs that were made by smc swelled out of the pack .

I use the shorty in B4.2 and used the comp series ones in 13.5 late model all summer no problems at all for me.

I don't believe SMC makes packs. Weird thread and comments given your signature includes Fantom?

The Fantom packs I've tried are among the best I've had, both for on track performance and for low IR. Several years old, no puffing. But I do take pretty good care of them.

Fantom don't make lipos or motors as you should know , they use other OEM from the manufacture that they think is best and test the equipment to make sure its in spec before they sell it to the public .

The fantom packs I run now are the Thunder power packs I think , 5000mah 50c and they are gold . But they don't sell them anymore . I was just looking for a reference for the new packs they sell .

That one Fantom 6500mah 2s Comp pack for $54.00 is not that bad for the price. I never seen anybody use them though at the tracks i been to though.

no one makes lipo packs in the US,we all buy them from manufactures or distributors from china
