Default MIP SCTE

Im seeming to have a issue with the MIP conversion for the SCTE . I notice that my steering arm turnbuckle is to short to line up with the bell crank hole. I turned on the power, and my servo horn is straight and i helded the Front wheels straight and i loosen up one of the ball end and to get it to line up well the end was falling off the servo turnbuckle.

The servo must be moved back from the TLR chassis and stock .

So im guessing im going to need to take off my servo horn and loosen both ball ends ?

The MIP kit comes with a new longer threaded steering rod that goes from the servo to the rack.

Yeah thats the one I'm talking about. The MIP kit includes a longer threaded rod that replaces the one going from the servo horn to the steering rack.

I looked at the mip kit i only seen the mip steering buckles to the front knuckles not the servo horn. Do you have a pick of the servo turnbuckle ?

There is no new servo linkage included, you do have to use the MIP included screw though

Oh thanks . Why do i need to use the screw that it comes with though ? The stock screw fits fine .

I got the chassis in a trade and bought the chassis parts .

Its not a screw its a threaded rod(part #99047). On the attached image above it shows the required steering link length that is not achievable with the stock length rod, which is why they included the new LONGER one.

I looked at that MIP set screw treaded rod its the same size as the Losi one. Well i tryed the measurement that MIP manuel gave for the servo horn turnbuckle and it still does not line up good with the bellcrank . The only thing i can think of is maybe the Losi servo horn is to long or something ?

I can get it to line up close enough but the issue with that is the wheels are not straighten and thats with the horn lined up at 90@ .
