Thanks for the input.

What's the type b chassis kit for?

I run a box stock 210 with the rear arms flipped and setup as rm3. You dont need the + 8 chassis i run on a huge 1/8 scale track and my car is dialed. Never had gearbox issues or chassis issues due to shorter wheelbase. Just drive it and have fun

I love the durangos for their clean design.I believe they are the easiest kit to work.Thats what keep me on the bandwagon.Part support is not really a problem, as you drive the kit you learn the weak spots and you just order 2 or three of the parts you might break that weekend arms, drive shafts, spur's and maybe hubs. you just stock parts like you would for any other kit.

I had decided to run the Team C vehicles until I looked at Tower hobbies this morning and saw how cheap the Dirangos are. I love the look of them so I might have to order them up.

Durango 4w stuff rocks and when the V2 buggy comes out I think the 2w will be better.

Not a bad time to buy a Rango and give them a try.

Ive liked the looks of the Durangos after seeing your 410 when you took it too topgear shortly after getting it. I haven't raced in a couple years and they were priced too high for me to justify it. Now that they're lower it's a pretty good deal.

I must say I bought a RTR desc210 and put a HW setup in it and moved some shock location and haven't changed anything else and the truck is very competitive

I absolutely do not see the need to upgrade any parts...I am a pretty sucky driver (flips, wrecks, etc) and have not broke a single part in over 5 full days of practice on my 210. Only problem I have had is the screw backs out holding the shock piston on...I probably did not use enough thread lock when assembling it. I have popped exactly 2 turnbuckles, and those were HUGE wrecks.

So impressed I ordered a DESC210 RTR today for my son...$175 after tower discounts.

The prices have dropped because Durango is introducing updated cars/trucks Q1 2014

Same here, I just ordered a 410 V3, can't beat the price! I was gonna wait till the TLR wheeler came out but why wait that long?

their cars are decent, very interesting design.
usually require some upgrades, and you may easily ended up in that blinky hole.
the main reason it's become so inexpensive is that:
greatplane (huge mother company of tower hobbies) bought the durango brand, the company is loaded that they can afford to drop the price crazy if they want. With the new version coming, doesn't matter how much it's gonna change, they can just lower the price to a "crazy" level.
for example axial got acquired by greatplane then the axial exo's price dropped half in a few months.

I will be at TopGear Saturday for the Triple Threat series round 5 if you want to check them out more closely.
