Default Losi truggy 2.0 motor/esc help

Okay right now I have the losi 2.0 truggy with mm2 2200kv I really want to try a censored motor. So I may put that motor in my buggy and get something different for the truggy. On a budget what is best motor and esc to go with on the truggy I was looking at tekin 2000kv but what about the others like hobbywing or something like that

I run the Tekin 2000kv motor and it's a total beast. Pair that with a good lipo and I guarantee you it will FLY.

hobbywing 2200kv and sct pro or xerun 150a is an insanely fast setup too

i like the sct pro footprint and programming input better by the way

The tekin motors are great and the hobbywing I have has been good as well. I used to run RX8's but had some durability issues (granted these were gen 1s). Huge difference over my MMM

Man I've never timed it bud I'd say 15 to 20 min racing or even longer just playing around or practicing it does pretty good. I love those batteries

the hobbywing 150a ESC is outstanding.. WAY more reliable than tekin rx8, smoother than tekin.. just all around the best choice. Cheaper to boot!

The xerun motors are retard powerful.. the ONLY reason to run tekin motors over the hobbywing is if you are running a 5 or 6s lipo setup and need lower KV's.

I would take a hw xerun 1/8 setup over tekin and most others every day of the week.

And NO i'm not sponsored ;P

I run a Tekin RX8 Gen 2 and Tekin T8 2000kv on 4s in my SC8.2e (basically a truggy chassis with buggy parts and a short course truck body) and it hammers.
