Default Losi vs Mugen Truggy

Hello everyone,

I am new to the RCTECH forum but not new to RC. Here is my question. I am in the market for a truggy. Never owned one or know anyone close enough that owns one. I believe I have it narrowed down to two options. The Losi or the Mugen. I am almost positive I will convert it over to brushless. What does everyone suggest? I know both are top notch but what is everyones opinions, likes, and dislikes? I hope to make the purchase by fall so I have a nice winter project. Any comments welcome. Thanks in advance

Matt

Mugen.

Losi's are great driving cars, they just don't have the best wear characteristics.

Might do some reading on the Agama too... They have a simple brushless conversion. I love mine.

You're going to get a lot of people simply recommending what they run, whether they've used both or not, so allow me to be the voice of reason.

I own a losi 8ight buggy... Do I love it? Yes! Would I swap it for a Mugen given the chance? Bet your arse I would.

I own both and have raced both. I feel I could run similar times with either one. I think they are both great Truggies. Can't go wrong with either one in my opinion.
