So, unless I missed it, any suggestions to fix the front rims rubbing the camber link ball cup at full steering lock? Or do you just have to run the new bigger rims?

It's close but the lf silver is quite a bit softer the the kyo gold. I found that the avid red is a very close match. Can't remember the numbers off hand but I know the avid is very close.

They should not hit at full throw, unless you are running 4mm under ball stud. If you are running 4mm then just trim the ball cups a little with a exacto knife.

Im running 3mm like in Maifields setup and the rims rub pretty bad. I've already Dremeled the cup down a bit but it's still hitting. This is with the bellcrank spindles.

Finally got my 2.0 out to race, great improvement from my 22, hadnt raced in over a year and made a-main in both my classes which both had multiple mains, 17.5 blinky(2nd out of 17) and 13.5 running car still in 17.5 blinky(4th out of 28). had to lighten rear to gray springs and turn out eyelets to 2 turns for more traction under braking, my question is the car felt a bit "numb" in the tight 180's and I'm looking for the best way to make it more aggressive thru the tight ones with out loosing that over all stable feel that car has, I want to be able to power thru them instead of having to use the brakes to get rear to swing thru, I'm rear motor with full size stick pack, any suggestions would be great, thanks

Full size stick pack = numb at least in my book.

I run shorty pack.....only 3,300mah....very light. Works GREAT for me, a very nimble car....like a 1/12 scale car for off road.

M4 suburbs on the front are the key item for my front end to get best steering.

Yeah Silver LF not really close. KYO gold is supposed to be 3.87 (measured at 3.34 according to some charts?)

Avid red is 3.33, Avid Purple 3.62. So I'd even try purple. I ran purple for a day and liked it, but threw the KYO gold on when it came in the mail. Seemed about the same.

I run the associated yellows (3.75) and like them. Cost for them is $5.

You'll have to clearance for 3mm, 2mm should clear fine which is what I run and Maifield is running now.

And then it could also be wheel offset. Did you say what wheels you run?
