I did the bare minimum and my car is great!

Spindles, caster blocks, arms, rack and shock seals only.

Car is great, yeah, could be even better with springs, shafts, plastic shock parts etc... but for a few bucks it was well worth doing and I'm very happy to be racing this car still.
It's better than ever.

so what is everybody saying about taking the waterfall brace out on mid motor set up to get the battery all the way back against the motor? will this cause too much flex or is it okay to take it out? I will be driving on a high bite clay track

I am considering purchasing a 22 2.0. I am coming from a B4.2 and want to try a different rear motor and a mid motor car that isn't going to be too costly. Does anybody have both a B4.2 and a 22 2.0? What are the differences in driving characteristics between the two when ran in rear motor? Without having to search through hundreds of pages of threads, will a full sized lipo fit in the 22 2.0 in both rear and mid motor configuration? Also, will my front and rear JConcepts and Team Associated B4.2 rims fit on the 22 2.0? And are the front 22 2.0 hexes 10mm or 12mm?

Thanks in advance,

Mark

It's been talked about a bunch. Read back over the last 10 or so pages and you'll find multiple opinions. short short version is AE car is more aggressive. TLR car is easier to drive while maintaining corner speed.

full size fits in rear motor but not mid. Mid is shorty or saddles. Rear rims fit, front don't. I believe they are 10mm hexs.

I cannot comment on the b4.2 vs 22 2.0, but long pack fits only in rear motor as far as i know. mid motor, I am pretty sure you can run a shorty or saddle packs. the 22 2.0 uses 12mm hexes front and rear.
EDIT: 12mm hex rear, smaller hex up front.

better check on that front hex. I know it's smaller than my AE and Kyosho cars were.

Are there plans to sell the TiCn Threaded King Pins as a separate P/N? Snapped one this weekend, and the only way to get them is by purchasing the hinge pin set.
