Let us know how your car is this weekend and what you learned. I'll get a setup sheet posted for a reference this week.

Little pricey but they work well. I like those, or cutting a few threads out of the stock ones so they go on/off easier.

As i've mentioned before in this thread I converted my original 22 to a 2.0 Mid Motor chassis. I'm using Dustin Evan's setup sheet - this car was built for carpet tracks in my area for the winter season.

I've had much more practice with my 22 2.0 Rear Motor and have it pretty dialled for my liking. But I'm having a little issue with my Mid Motor chassis. It steers great on carpet, I love the ability to turn tight and feel planted to the carpet.... but my issue/question is the suspension, it doesn't jump as predictably as my rear mount car does, and more specifically on moguls, or rumble strips it seems to nose plant down. On jumps you can control the cars vertical movement, so thats not really my issue, just curious if any mid motor guys can suggest how to prevent it from nose-ing down on moguls/rumble strips?

Thanks
Paul B

The Exotek rack is designed to have neutral bump steer. Just fyi for those thinking of running the RB6 mod.
FYI-If you mount the RB6 rack as high as possible and use low mount ball studs on the spindles with no washers you can get 0 bump steer.

I was having trouble with mine until I got the gunmetal/gray colored screws. They are serrated and have not come loose yet.

My shocks (both front and rear) are leaking near the cap. I followed the how to's in building the shocks, what other tips can you give? I'm planning to rebuild them. good new is that the bottom part is not leaking any oil at all.

thanks for your help

Well I took my 2.0 to the track today. Wasn't planning on racing today just wanted to get it out there and get it broken in a bit. So I throw it out there after driving my b4.2 for a couple hours. Wow is all I can say. Even just coasting around and rolling the jumps you could just tell by the way it looks and feels that it's a winner. So after a pack of just coasting around I threw in the sting extreme and put it tothrough its paces. Amazing feeling car in box stock form. Everyone is ranting and raving about the Frank roots setup so ill have to give it a shot. But for right now I'm liking how it drives. Anyways I ended up racing BC I felt comfortable with the car after that first real pack, which is amazing, and TQd and took first in heat 2 and the main. Hahaha not too shabby considering I couldn't get anywhere close to winning with the b4.2. So I sold it to a Guy at the track and he had it out the next day. Thanks TLR you guys made an amazing buggy with this one.
