Ford vs Chevy except in this case the Chevy (i.e. Losi) is really a Yugo...

Well i driven both of the trucks only on a tight indoor small track though not outdoor . The 2.0 handling seems close to what the Tekno SCT410 is but the SCT410 for sure weights more but does not handle like it at all. And the shocks are 1/8 scale on it.

The thing i like about the SC10410 is it turns on a dime into the really tight 180 turns go where you want it ! Not as aggressive as the 2.0 . The thing i dont like is it doesnt come with metal outdrives . And to get stiffer springs you have to use Losi Eight springs .

2.0 has a little less turn in but rotates pretty good less nose drive .

In the end really its what the driver likes .

Im thinking about getting the Tekno truck over the winter .

Yea not trying to start a debate or anything, the topic is just a good title for my video

I've got a lot of seat time with the 2.0 and love it as well.

And the sc10 4x4 is a beast on 8th scale tracks. Are we making jokes now? They both looked good. It was impossible to tell which was better as both drivers made mistakes.

Pointless Video, and thread

The Losi is a toy, soft imperial screws and a royal PITA to work on

Best thing I ever did was ditch my Ten-SCTe and get the Tekno. Not one breakage, part loose or malfunction, only had one DNF and that was when my poor soldering came in, a motor wire came off.

I too went from a scte2.0 to an sct410. The sct410 feels far more solid and is better all round

Major hates of the scte2.0 = that stupid long esc-motor run & imperial screws
Major hates of the sct410 = don't believe tekno's lies about 50-50/50-50 balance. I had to screw down the shocks on one side of the car +10mm just to get it to sit level...

I wouldnt say its a pain to work on other than i wish they made a one piece center diff mount for it @! Never broke my SCTE just bent them soft screws Losi has for it in the Front suspension mount and though the top of the Carbon towers !

True. The eb48 is 50/50 balanced, the sct410, not so much. I run equal preload on both sides (right and left) and my car sits level.

LOL somebody has been feeding you a load of B.S. , it took a bit to get the Tekno springs to market but they have a whole set for tuning now . Guys were/are using Losi,HB,and Kyo springs because they are easier to get . Dont know who told you the outdrives are not metal ? They always have been .

I love my SCT410 but would like to have a 2.0 as well. Fun trucks and the 2.0 is so easy to drive fast! Doesn't turn as quick as the Tekno but the rear end is more locked in, in my experience....too many fun toys not enough time/$$!
