Default Exotek pro 17 chassis and setup

I'm disappointed that Exotek chassis don't allow front motor setup. Your will have to drill plastic off, and move front right screw and drill chassis. This will make right delrin side less durable. Ronnefalk carpet setup will not work without modification. At least weight balance will be different and maybe front shocks oil don't need to be so stiff.

We have very similar carpet indoor track as Las Vegas Carpet. Maybe someone can share they carpet setup with exotek chassis and motor middle mount?

In the future I will drill to make motor stay front, but don't want to do this from the start.

Appreciate your help.

Finally got a chance to run mine. It worked mint. Made the A main. There were 3 full heats of great drivers. $20 blue esc was only 100 degrees. Trackstar 5.5 was 140 degrees. (Had EPA down to 90 percent) None of the 3 $20 servos have broken yet. Gonna run it again tomarrow at a new track. But whatever.

Yep. That's what I thought. I was there a couple times for some larger races. Been years though. Thought about coming up for their big Team C stock race. What tires work there?

Positron and electrons. In clay. Raced at the inside groove tonight. There were many sponsored drivers there. Car worked great. Did get clam basted at the end of main and bent a shock shaft. Ordered all 4 for 7 bucks. Many guys at the track have much love for d413. Think I might have had the only 1 there.

What suspension settings to you guys use on the Rear end on this buggy with a loose hard pack clay track ? I used Soft Holeshots during the day and it was just sliding coming out of the turns on exit not slamming the throttle . It seems like with the stock setting on the Rear arms where the shocks, are mounted on the arms and tower it has to much body roll to me at least going up to the top hole on the arms, will help a good bit and more stable i did limit the travel with the rod ends .

It's pretty much the stock setup except red springs up Front and 37w/35w I think or 32w in the Rear 21mm ride height .

Finally got most of my wiring done. I just have to clean up battery side and I'll be done. That, and finish the body fit, which was a big pain in the ass to assemble.
