It doesn't bind through the travel but the caps don't have any wiggle under tension. I may just find a longer screw and space it out a little further. Also noticed you can't get a wrench on the nut once mounted since the cap so close to the nut

Just got my aluminum caps mounted and I see what you guys are talking about as well. They do seem to be angled on the top but doesn't affect anything. Look ok to you guys?

That's how most shocks look. My rb6 looks just like that at all 4 corners. I'm sure under the stock ball cup they aren't perfectly straight either. Those look super clean though.

Wait, I believe yours screws are backwards. Nut goes to outside. That's how my 1/8 buggy are.

You are correct, the mount screw is backwards. Probably makes no difference at all. Just will make it more of a pain to remove and replace shocks.

So to the guys using the B5 shock caps how have they been holding up? The are more accessible then the aluminium caps from hotbodies.

B5 caps work great. They are about a mm or so shorter so just unscrew the eyelet to make up for it.

Is that the Sworkz wing? Mine should be shipping out today but I'm thinking about trimming the wicker bill area down like a traditional wing, looks too boxy

I thought about doing that myself with mine. But in my opinion the the wing is pretty flexible. So cutting the wicker down would make that worse. What I did was cut it about halfway then put a few reamed holes in the wicker bill.

The caps work great, just make sure to put a screw in the bleeder hole. I left it out thinking I'd run a vented bladder. I blew out both rear bladders.
