I have ordered from them before (from website based on the page I linked) and I could login there to my account. However if I try the first link that was posted, it does not recognize my account.

Where on the tower brace is it breaking? Wonder if a little fiberglass wrap reinforcement is in order before I run mine.

One second I'll have a post. Don't get me wrong this is a great buggy and very strong. The HPI customer service is great as well they have got me my missing parts for my kit asap. Just a little disappointed in the stock levels on the front shock tower mount worldwide.

Since getting my D413 in May I've driven at an indoor clay track and 2 outdoor dirt tracks many times... then 3 practice days on indoor offroad carpet. So far I had bent a front shock shaft and and popped a front shock off once when I let somebody else take the wheel. But nothing broke: I was beginning to feel invincible!!!...
... then the carpet track changed the layout to add a crossover: and if you came up short you effectively jumped directly into a wall. I took that jump a little too slow and...
The front shock tower mount fractured into 7 pieces: 5 were still attached to the car and 2 were lost on the track:
Front and rear tower mounts weren't parts I had ordered spares of: and LHS's here can barely keep the kits on the shelves, nevermind spares on the wall. Time to order in...

Anyone tried modding the rear tower brace and front shock carbon fiber mount to work?

If there is some real improvement we're talking about then I'll add my name to the list of people wanting an RPM version. But if you just want them to fill the gap until more of the HPI parts are available, how would that make sense for RPM, or any other aftermarket company?
I'd much rather see RPM produce a set of replacement ball studs and links that aren't sloppy like the stock ones. Maybe some bushings that remove slop from the ackerman bar and hubs?
Those are things that would improve the stock parts we get with the buggy and would keep selling.

What would be better about a brace made by RPM than the one made by HPI? Most of us aren't having any trouble with breaking them and that triangulated brace is a core design feature of the car. Other than current availability of spares, I actually like the idea of breaking a $7 brace instead of a $30 carbon fiber tower.
