On the track there seems to be more drag than some of my other cars. But if you are talking about picking up the car and pulse the throttle for full speed and let it go, then mine will spin and slowly decelerate. I also run no drag brake.

So I got the B5 caps. Is it normal that they were tough to screw on? I can't get them to get fully tight down to the shoulder on the shock. Are you using the standard AE rubber seal at the top?

I used the stock bladders. They don't sit flush on the collar but they get very close. Less than a mil.

What motor are you using? Some motors, like Trackstar, have a lot of magnetic drag due to the way they are built. Letting off can feel like hitting the drag brake. If you spin the motor by hand, is there a strong 'clunk' feel when the rotor turns? If so, you may just be seeing that effect as acting like drag brake. As long as the car jumps ok, don't worry about it too much.

Close to the Reedy, I started there, and have been changing things to suit my track and my driving. Avid or Schelle make a good bearing kit for the car, both have nice websites as well. Dont need a lot of parts for this car, I keep a spur gear and few odds and end, but nothing like any 4wd I have ever owned before.
