The Ty Reedy race setup was very good. I was able to drive the car harder and it was forgiving. Durability? Well, I was not paying attention and hit a SC at full speed when he was parked in the straight. I sent him and good 15+ feet, but alas, nothing broke one the car. Seriously, wtf. This car is retarded durable.

ehhh, a lot lot ,lol
3.5 rear toe, 1 deg squat, black rear sway, copper front sway, more kick in the front and lrc instead of HRC. shorter front camber link. I dropped to 3k rear diff. The car was great. It was exactly what I have been hunting for. Shock package might still need some work, but otherwise it was great.

i think im getting used to the slop. lol. i dremeled the hat bushing and removed about half of it.
raced the car on new layout that severly blew out(prob one of worst tracks ive raced on ever) finished 6th in a class with 2 4wd bug and 11 4wd SC.
Want durable? a 4wd SCTE caught wind and jumped from second lane into first lane which is a straight(accidental) as i came barreling down the straight. POW head on collision at almost top speed. broke his SC! my buggy bounced off and keep going! worth every penny. Wish i had video.

what is the reason to going down from stock 10k rear diff oil to a 5k or 6k? How will it react differently?

Honestly, I was just copying Ty's setup as a point to start. I have tried a lot of Tys setup before, but i never lowered the rear diff oil and I was using the silver front and rear sway bars. I would have thought the lower rear diff oil and heavy rear sway bar would have loosened up the car. But it was just better at SRS. It felt stable and could be driven harder without the rear flying around. The car was very predictable. I was running 10/100/3k oils. I might drop the front to 7k to try and get a little bit of the steering back.

I run ty's reedy setup with 3 degree rear toe and 2 degree anti squat with 7 front 120 center 3 rear diff oil.The setup doesn't run a front sway bar very pleased with it. I just installed the vrp 3x1.3 tapered pistons will be testing tomorrow. I run ae yellow springs in front and white in rear.

+1 Ty's reedy setup is easy to drive. The box setup isn't that good.

The stock body is great if you're a master driver who NEVER wrecks.
I said from the moment it was announce that it was a 3-piece design that it would not hold up sadly it seems and I was right. Everyone at my track running the 413 has cracks all over their lids where those tiny screws hold the side pods to the cabin. This method has been in use in RC for as long as I can remember and its great while it holds together, but lexan isn't the most durable of substrates, a even less so with a small hole out towards the edge.
For what it's worth though, it is one gorgeous and superbly designed lid!
What you guys can do to make it more durable is use to shoe goo and mesh at those seems so the load doesn't fall on the screw points.
