seems like most run on high grip which is what the car is designed for, My first impression after driving it was that the chassis is too stiff and the car wasnt planted in the turns, My TeamC was the same way. The delrin upper decks should fix that. We run on friday so i should have some good feedback over the weekend. proto pistons are also on the car with a different configuration special for the wheelers

I tried to contact Avid today, but they are at the onroad race in Las Vegas. The chassis should be very close. I will let you know when I have a better date.

Also found that the car scaled better with the ESC behind the motor, this pic was with all collars even and no additional weight added. crossweight is perfect as is rear numbers but front left is heavy even with the esc in the rear.

Testing friday!!
Wouldn't the corner to corner weight be dependant on the placement of the battery? because it's further back in your setup, it makes sense to put the esc back there. Most setups seem to have the battery fully forward. I need to check my corner weights again, but I have my battery up front and ESC in the front also. Corner weights were good IIRC but I'll have to check.

Shifting the battery forward is not going to move 30g of weight and as it sits now the rear balance is perfect, moving the battery at all will take that away. Seems logical that if you have even weights, you would want them symmetrical on the chassis. The esc and motor weighs almost the same as the battery and the servo is only minimally heavier than most receiver. Moving the esc up front will force you to add static weight to the rear left or jack the rear left collar down until its out of range ( i dont like to go more than 1 revolution personally.) You can no doubt make it work either way and that has been proven!

The battery really does need to be moved forward, this is how the car was given to me so i havent really messed with it much other than making the upper deck and installing the pistons. I plan on spending most of the day friday testing and trying some different things, moving the battery forward will be one of them!

Are you referring to running bladders without the bleeder screw installed? My only issue with that would be contaminates. The hole faces forward and will pack with dirt on crashes.

even if something got in there the bladder separates from the shock oil so it would make a difference especially on a lovely clean indoor track!!

Yeah, for me there is no dust, so that is not a concern. More like packing the hole closed and changing how the shock works. With the AE caps, I would just face the bleeder inwards and not have an issue. The HB bleeder faces forwards, so that would be my only concern.

I could see that happening for sure with the stock caps on a muddy or wet track but with as much pressure that builds up inside on a hard landing i would think it would just blow out especially since the holes is so small.
