Exactly... larger spur will not fit

Torrance.
In Australia we run 17.5 blinky stock and its a sanctioned class. Its has strong numbers and run across the country with typical gearing around 5.5/6.5 to 1. Some justification for a smaller spur and hopefully increased sales.
Thanks.

Working on my build now. So far everything is going fairly smoothly.

I am trying to do the tessman OCRC setup. What shock piston included in the kit or which losi piston would be most similar to 2 x 1.6 and 2 x 1.7?

When I was putting the screws in the center diff I wasn't paying close enough attention and the screw starting digging into the spur gear. It didn't even feel like I was turning that hard...

Default Spur preorder from Tower

For those that preordered a spur gear from Tower may want to check your order. Mine is being processed but instead of being the spur gear, the item is now pointing to the gear shims. I called Tower and they said that I had to email them my receipt that showed that the original description was really for the spur gear.

So just a heads up for those that are ordering another spur gear. Or maybe I could be the only one.

One could shim between the center diff and chassis to make room for a larger spur if one was available... A manufacturer could come up with a larger spur and shim kit...

This is true as the center drive shafts are already not perfectly level, so shimming would not make too much difference on dogbone and out drive wear.
We shall see if they make larger spur gear kits.

I take back what I posted before. You can't shim the center motor mounts because of the top decks! They have to be level. You would have to shim all the top decks and the center bulk head and the motor mount. This would also weaken the structural integrity of the top decks and may put unwanted flex into the chassis. It opens up a whole can of worms.

Hey e-Revo - how are you liking the tekin rsx, I am going to be installing that esc with a tekin 6.5 and a 23 pinion, would I need to add boost and timming or would it be fine just like that with no boost or timming . Asking because of all the heat issues peeps are having .

Which fronts did you get? Rears should be fine.
