Who ever put up the first post could put them up front for everyone, that's what Tekno has done.

Call me a newb.... that's fine. (I've never had a 1/10 buggy...)

But are there 1/10 buggies that use droop screws???

(I do not know, I am asking...)

If there are not, wouldn't it be less of a disappointment... I mean really, I've never seen a 1/10 buggy with them, I'd be more excited if it did... (like gear diffs, and a center diff etc.)

Right...not a lot of droop screws in 1/10 cars. As Torrance said earlier in the thread when this topic came up the reason they aren't there is that to put them in means a change in the geometry of the suspension that he was unwilling to make as it would sacrifice performance. His answer is tip #5 in Torrance's post above which is ingenious.

Contrary to what the amain site says, it seems like the kit will include some oils (#500 Shock, 10K and 100K diff). Seems like Europe is getting kits and they show a few pics. In one, it clearly shows that three oils are included:

When will we see listings for the HB wheels on this in the US? I know when the day comes I can just grab-n-go with the TLR 22-4 wheels at my LHS. But I would like to see basic parts support on this when it arrives.

Also, I think it was said that Proline made a one piece body. I assume that would outlast the three piece body the kit will come with since each attachment point will a place that flex will crack and rip over time. When will the aftermarket vendors be listing those parts?

HB wheels are already listed on Tower. You can preorder and it seems like it is slated for late April. So maybe it will go out at the same time that kits come in.

HB D4 wheels for the rear are in stock and will fit. D4 fronts are currently out of stock, but should be back middle of this month or just wait for D413 wheels.

Torrance,
For one of your future build tips, can we do one on a good initial setting for the servo saver? About how much should we screw it down to get a tension that is not too tight or too loose?

Thanks

Crap.'amain is now saying May 5. How can that be? If Europe is getting them now or next week, how does it take a month to get here from Europe?

Ours are on a slow boat that has to clear customs, maybe Europe got theirs by rail or a small air shipment?

Is there an active, dare I say, responsible member who would like the task of taking over and updating the original post of this thread? If so send me a PM.

racer1812, my son and i have been laughing for 20min.
this gets the Quote of the month award

"I'm not saying kill all the stupid people. I'm just saying take all the warning labels off and let it sort itself out!"

can we at least keep the pictures on the recipe box

any way weather the kit comes with oils, fluid or not, i always have Mugen Seiki diff fluid on hand and Losi shock oils.

At least Cinco de Mayo is a memorable date and i will celebrate even more so 5/5/14.
what's Tower saying?
