I doubt it. We haven't encountered any front wheel chattering issues. But if at some point we do then we can make one. We already have them for our touring cars.

I second that, I've been waiting patiently to see what wheeler might be my comeback to the class, and I have to say that your feed back directly here has made me decide in favor of your car. Surprisingly through all of our testing and the ROAR Nats and the Worlds, we haven't broken anything! There was the rear camber link mount which was originally made of carbon fiber which we snapped a couple of but we've changed to aluminum and haven't broken any since.

Yes it sounds too good to be true. I guess Ty doesn't crash much but still we've put a lot of miles on the car with some crashes but no damage. Starting this week I get to start driving mine. Maybe then I can tell you what I manage to break.

Although we haven't broken parts, some things do wear out like the front and rear skid plates that I mentioned in an earlier post.

Diff oils we use are heavier than what is typically used on 1/8 scale because the gears are smaller. Fronts are around 7-20K, rears are around 5-15K, center at around 50-300K.

Thanks! Early on I try to respond to questions since very few people know the car inside and out. For now it's just Ty, Gord, and myself who have spent some time with it. My participation in this forum will eventually taper off though once the car gets in the hands of the racers. There's a lot of helpful HB racers in this forum and they usually answer questions faster than I can anyway. This is the pattern that I've followed with the D812, I'll continue this way with the D413, and then the same for whatever is next

While I admit to still being on the fence right now with the new offerings out there. This one just keeps looking better and better as I see more about it. Simply well designed and innovative in so many ways. My biggest worry is I can be hard on things and I am not sure how long the chassis would stand up to it all

An aluminum option would be a nice piece of comfort for down the road...

This will be a trade of between durability and performance I know, but the option being on the table would be huge.

I am so tempted to get this car. I am debating between this car and the TLR 22-4. Even though I already have a TLR 22 and my local track doesn't support HPI parts so much, I am really tempted because I think the design of this car looks great. Durability is my key word. And now with direct support from HB, at least for the beginning, this might be my next car.
