How many guys are running the D413?

I'm leaning more towards the D413 at this point, but I still need to wait on more information about the ZX6. So far what I know is there seems to be a lot breaking.

The D413 is just so unique in its design from the Shock towers all the way to the body. The new RSX speedo with a Gen2 6.5 would go nicely with this car.

Yup if there are no delays expect it in November. The car is no longer a prototype. Now I just have to decide what electronics I should get. Reedy is also coming out with a esc. Will wait for feedback from others how it does

Default HPI D413 (small batery packs)

What should be the size of the small batery packs?

138mm x 47mm x 26mm

any ideia if a 138 x 44x 138 mm will fit?

The idea behind is for speed runs on 4s.

Dont mind dremel a little to fit the height!

Waintin for a 1/10 buggy with 3 gear diffs with NO saddle packs since i was born!

How about you build something with the appropriate amount of power for once?

about the shock caps that Ty is running... during the roar nats practice Ty had a freak minor crash that popped off a rear shock off its mount. must've hit something just right. we've never encountered it in testing and in qualifying and during the mains. but this is the worlds we're going into and we decided to leave no stone unturned and drew up aluminum caps to ensure reliability. I designed the aluminum caps myself but since time was short between the nats and the worlds our factory couldn't make them in time. ProLine did us a HUGE favor by offering to make them for us hence I told them to feel free to etch the PL logo on them. we have a great relationship with PL with Ty driving for them and us.

Great info, and nice to see the designer on here answering questions and sharing info. Doing a nice job of gaining customers Keep it up.

Awesome. Thanks for clarifying that Torrance.

I've never had a HB car but the D413 just may be my first. Great support and products along with the designer of the car posting here to help the consumers. It really can't get better than that.

Best of luck at the worlds to Team HB.
