That is funny right there. You must be a pro. That is all I broke on my 44. You could look at a front arm wrong and it would snap.

I'm NOWHERE near pro but I drive a 410v3 and KNOW what a heavy car is and this cold snap we've been experiencing this year has me, for the first time, snapping front arms for no apparent reason. I landed a quad a month ago quite superbly and the front right arm simply collapsed on itself, but the temperature was in the mid 50's.

As for the 44.2, we run one of the healthiest fields of 4WD buggies (usually 2 large groups for qualy, sometimes even 3) and 60% of them are 44.2's, 20% 410's, and the other 20% is spread among other top brands. Of them all, the 44.2 breaks the least amount of anything. The 2 things they break the most by far are Ball Cups and Beveled Diff Gears and if you're breaking arms you're doing something wrong too frequently. Durangos on the other hand… Let's just say they have a synchronized phrase whenever one of us breaks something. 'Dem bastichez! LOL

Next time you're at the track hold both cars back to back and you will instantly understand what I'm saying.

I know the weight difference. I came from a 44.2 since it was released. Now I race a 410 v3. I have yet to break a arm. I would break 1 arm per day minimum on the 44. I have not changed my driving between the two. I prefer the rango

Fragile? I never got thru a single pack with my xxx-4 g+ without breaking something. I'd sneeze on the way to the stand with that car and hear "snap".

Nope. That's been their since January at least. I sent a message asking them how do they know the bearing sizes needed for d413 when the car hasn't been released yet. Never got an answer

Hey Torrance will there be a cab forward body option for this car? Would that give more rotation along with steering?

btw good job at the dnc. Was Ty's d812 setup for consistency because his lap times weren't near as fast as the others?

I'm sure Ty could've turned some much faster laps than he did but when you're in the lead you don't push too hard. Everyone else had to make up ground and were pushing hard, obviously leading to more mistakes. Ty did exactly what you should do when in the lead.

Races aren't won by hero laps

I run weekly at a heated indoor facility. That said, breakage, especially front arms, has been pretty = for me between the 44.2 and XRay. What I am finding is that I can drive my XB4 harder, faster, and more consistantly w/o fear of banging/glancing off of the pipes. Whereas with the .2, clip a pipe and I'm done. But, with the XB4, if I land at a bad angle, I'm done. Odd perhaps, but that's been my experience between the two.

True, but fast laps usually hint how fast these cars are capable of going. Consistency is very very important, but if I'm not in the front I like to know my car has the speed to catch up. Don't want to drive safe just hoping for others to make mistakes. Then all I have to worry about is setup and my driving. That's one less excuse for losing a race.
