I am running the aluminum version. Much cheaper than HB chassis. I think the carbon version would be good for 13.5 class to save weight.

Anyone tried running the ESC in the back? What did it drive like? Seems like it would have a more weight spread

Yeah his buggy looked awesome. Any chance that he was running the Exotek chassis? Sure looks like it from the pictures we can see of it. Now if someone would release a slipper to get ride of the center diff.

His D413 looked really good!

Well that explains the rear hubs and in a few shots you can spy the plastic side pods that are turned up (not flat like the other chassis brands). Hard to wait for winter to pass so I can race again. With everything that is going on with the silly season of pro's changing "jobs" and new 4w buggies coming out still happy with the d413 as a competitive buggy. Might have to make the long 4hr drive to a carpet track to play one weekend.

Yes, it's too bad HB lost Tessman but good to see David getting the full factory support. Hope he makes it out to Reedy race.

Hey there peeps

I just got one of these buggies 2nd hand to try out and I was wondering if there are any parts I should stock up on other than what's listed on the first page of this thread?

Also any upgrades you'd recommend. Currently it's got the exotek chassis but that seems to be it.

M3x20 steel screws. These get bent in the front a lot.

Those longer m3 screws do like to go quick, thanks for the heads up. Luckily I recently bought a small batch of those for my 1/8 buggy

Might be a dumb question but is anyone running 2wd front wheels and tires on this buggy?

I've seen some guys in the for sale threads with really skinny fronts and wasn't sure if they were 2wd fronts or not.
