    Awesome! Thanks.
  • I want to build my shocks emulsion style and I have the aluminum shock caps.

Other than cutting the bladder is there anything else that I will need to do? I know on the first page it says that I need to drill a vent hole but that is only if you are using the plastic caps correct? The aluminum ones seem to be vented.

    Thanks for the help.

Spot on, that's exactly what I did and they work perfectly.
  • Hey All, I picked up a set of the Exotek rear alum hubs for the D413 and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that if you use the outer hole you need to use a 3mm spacer to clear it properly? 2mm is included. My stock setup with the plastic hubs I have complete clearing through the full travel. Another note is I've noticed also that even with the stock hub setup it helps create more clearance if you add 3mm of shim under the rear camber plate so when using the longer inside holes you can clear the edge of the plate. I've attached some pics.

  • I noticed a lot of people have been selling their D413...Is there a new kit coming soon? I have one and it drives excellent compared to my old 410V3
  • does anyone have advice on removing and installing that god awful clip on the thru shafts in the front and rear diff cases?

other than that the car is aces in my book..handles great,...responds to setup changes well, and of course, very durable and dialed....

I'm assuming that all the d413's for sale are racers that went and bought tlr 22-4 2.0's
  • I don't think there's any plans for a new kit. I think its just that time of the year where people are jumping or changing classes to run.

I still have D413 and that buggy has been a tank. I've been running it since it came out and have only had to replace 1 spur gear and 1 ball cup.
  • Exotek Spur Issues
I have recently installed the Exotek Spur and the fit seems tight. Center diff does not spin freely now. Any advice would be great.

Have you removed the shims from the center mount?
  • Has anybody tried the R10 swaybar holders yet ? I am getting sick of these plastic ones and mine are a little deformed I am thinking about ordering some of them. These are 4.8mm just like the factory mount.

  • Has anyone had an issue with these pieces inside the steering block peeling on the outside and causing binding? Any way to remedy that? I am on my third set!

  • Just looked. Looks like people are using the crush tubes from a B5M

  • Hey Guys -

Is there a proper break in procedure for the diffs?

I just finished building mine and I am going to head to the track in the next week to test it out.

No, just build and go. After several runs I would break them down and clean them out good.
