Probably the best upgrade I've done so far is the Schelle Carbon stretch chassis. The car handles the rough stuff soo much better and can drive it harder in and out of the corners.

The Exotek steering rack I just added back in October and feels nice and helped eliminate a lot of the steering slop.

For those complaining about the ball cups, look at getting the AE Ball Cups and the AE Ball Studs (2pks of the 8mm ones)

There's no real need IMO for Titanium turnbuckles unless you just want to spend the money on something fancy.
do you have part numbers for balls and cups?

Best car ever hands down. I've had mine over a year with very little repairs and lately none. It just goes and goes and goes. Thanks HB and Torrance for one bad ass 10th 4wd buggy.

I do not have the PNs for them, just look up the B5M ball cups and 8mm ball stud.

D413 really is a great car, and I agree schelle extended carbon chassis makes the car more stable and easier to drive. Especially in the air.

Also, just wanted to share, the new Pro Line Champions wing fits really well. It's a flat deck so it fits in both upside down and standard wing positions. It's not super thick, so don't expect crazy downforce. I'd say it's about perfect though. I'm planning to pick up the Durango 1.5mm as a thicker option. Seems very similar in dimension and shape.

Default For anyone interested in alternate shock shafts

I am sure that those looking for front shock shaft are having a hard time. I myself bent one on Sunday. What I ended up doing since all the retailers are saying end of April for restock, I went to my LHS with a front and rear shaft and compared a bunch of different brands. What I found to be the closest was Traxxas ti coated shafts. The part numbers are TRA2656T Rear and TRA1664T front. I know they are Traxxas parts but, to be able to find these parts pretty much anywhere has to count for something.

The lengths and width are identical. The main difference is the Traxxas shafts use e-clips. I had to use my body reamer to enlarge the piston hole, additionally a 1 mm spacer was used below the piston to snug up the fit. The shocks have the same amount of stroke as before.

The challenge for me was finding the length of the original shafts since HB says the fronts are 3x88mm that is the actual shock measurement from top hole to bottom hole.

the original shaft lengths from end to end are as follows.
Front 3x48mm
Rear 3x54mm

Hopefully this will help some of you guys.

Had the same issue a couple of months ago. so i changed my front shocks over to the Team Durango fat shocks and to be honest the feel better and parts are easier to get. the springs, Ball Ends and Spring Retainers fit, if you use the exotek retainers they need a little filing to make them fit.
