Default D413 max motor length w/ saddles

I was thinking of getting the d413. I would be using saddles and the foreword motor mount position looks tight. The motor I would be using is 58 mm long so it's slightly longer than a standard 540 can. Does anyone know if it would fit? Thanks in advance!

Will not fit, you will need a motor under 50mm in length to run saddles.

I'm building my kit for saddles I ordered the smc packs because it had good luck with smc in the past and they are very well priced. I plan to set the car up with 10k/100k/7k for my high bite indoor clay tight track. I will be running a LRP 6.5t motor what gearing would y'all recommend with that configuration? And would the 1.6 or 1.7x2 pistons be better for that track? I plan to install yellow springs on rear and gold on front any suggestions on oils?

Yes, the SMC's are a great value, but I don't really know anyone running saddle packs. It's just a better driving wheeler with shorty setup. With a 6.5 I'd say start at 23T and see how that works for ya. Diff fluid is pretty good, but you might end up dropping to 80K. 1.6 2 hole front and 1.7 rear is a pretty popular setup. Spring selection is the same as I'm using and works great for me.

On my son's car we have the ESC in back with the receiver and transponder in front. The car is balanced well and the wires to the motor are much shorter.

Thanks Rick! Last question for anyone, I have both the B and C rear shock tower. I don't remember which one is the B tower and which is the C, how can I tell them a part?

Thanks in advance!

I'm currently setting my electronics up this way with the stock chassis. I hit the ground with this car running the Schelle +4 aluminum chassis with the electronics in the front.

When I had the stock chassis and now with the Schelle Carbon chassis I run my ESC behind the motor and the RX & TP in front of the motor. When I put the car on scales at all 4 corners it was balanced real nice.
