Ok good. I was worried after hearing about them. Glad they took care of refunding you.

Just say no to big bumpers unless you are bashing.

Yes i made the mistake of buying those bumpers, while they protect the bulkheads. They catch on the track really bad when landing jumps. The car would pull all over the place. I rather replace some parts eventually, then have a inconsistent car.

I haven't had my bumper cause any inconsistency while racing. Landing a jump badly will upset a car with or without a bumper. They may not look fashionable, but the car looks much better with a bumper than sitting on the shelf with broken parts while you wait months for replacements.

I like the shock mud guards too. I'm weird that way. I even wear a helmet when riding my motorcycles.

My son just picked up an ebuggy converted D812. There are some design elements that are similar to the D413. There are some stress concentration points in the front arms that cause the inserts to crack and eventually shatter but otherwise it seems pretty sweet. Is this what you guys are talking about? Or are you looking forward to their real ebuggy release? I think most of the team drivers are driving the D815 converted to ebuggy.

LOL I think I saw that they had 3 nuclear power plants in stock.

OK back on topic, I'm a dumbass. The front end of my wheeler was dead. Hard to explain but wherever you put it, it just stayed there. Tore it all down and everything was free, rebuilt the shocks and checked for bent hinge pins, everything. That's when I noticed that the left linkage connecting the swaybar to the a-arm had come off and was jammed between said swaybar and a-arm. Stupid that I didn't notice it right away but lesson learned, I'm not a Tech Master.

The stock HB shocks kept leaking so i picked up a pair of Proline Shocks and they are far superior to the to the kit shocks. They are well wort it.

From the Proline website........ Use 6267-01 in the Front with 5mm of limiters and use 6308-01 or 6308-31 in the Rear. Use 2mm spacers on the top of the shocks to get the correct shock angle

That is what I have installed on my buggy

The car is much much more durable then others in this class. So i would't worry about breaking parts too much. But I'm not talking bad landings. The skid plates built into the bumpers catch on the track when landing jumps, i can only assume you must run with allot of ride height in your car. I like to keep mine relatively low to the ground. But even then the rear skid plate always managed to catch a few times a race. Buggy is much more predictable without it.
