There are lots of other adjustments to make. What setup are you running? What tires do you run?

Has anyone tried the new proline buggy shocks on their d413? Picked up a set but have found the fronts are a fair bit shorter then the hb units. I had assumed that Ty being a proline driver that the d413 would have been something they really tested these for...

Where in the corner does it feel like it has too much steering? Is it that the steering is too aggressive, or do you not have enough rear grip? Are you saucing the tires?

Initial. It's like taking the car out on pavement on the front. The rear doesn't slide out it did but I got that fixed. Yes

So you're saucing the tires, and feel the car is too aggressive? Maybe stop saucing the fronts?

What are you running for front toe? If you're running any toe out go to 0, if you're running 0 go to 1 of toe in.

Maybe look into a different setup. The Drew Mo setup clearly says for a tight track, probably gonna have lots of steering.

wouldn't think this car would be good for 13.5 / 17.5 blinky!
It's actually quite fast in 13.5 blinky. I beat most of the mod guys that can't handle their horse power

i pretty much run josh close's setup on this car (it was his car :-)

so 20k front, 200K center, 7k rear, he ran 50w in the shocks, with 2 hole 1.5mm holes, car drives and feels really good...had too much steering but thats what dual rate is for

i run exotech 69T spur and 31T pinion, max timing 13.5, car comes off at 172F after 6-7 minutes which is a little on the hot side but ok

i have tried 28-29-30-31t pinion, and 31 gave best result that day

since my car weighs the same as a b44.2....then thats not the problem....i am thinking (i know its hard to believe that i am LOL) but theres a ton of rotating mass and that has to hurt my acceleration.

so the only way i see the d413 working in 13.5 is to lower weight

yeah i am gonna be there for the belt race....norcal is my home away from home, im in one of the office pitspots come say hi
There's something else missing here as I don't have an issue in 13.5 with this car. Josh ran 20K front diff fluid?

Really liking this buggy. I'm running Ty's set up for OC/RC with a 7.5 Reedy motor. I've tried a bunch of different tire combos and the Pro Line Electrons have worked the best so far. I didn't drive it very well last night but it was still lots of fun.

72/31 but we run different motors. I run Tekin and they don't like to run max timing like the Team Powers motors.
