Most have the Carbon fiber one
The Aluminum is for high grip, carpet, sugared tracks and looks like its a new option since it says coming soon.... I didn't see that option a few weeks ago when I got my carbon chassis

Hey guys. Have any of you run this car on astro turf? My local indoor track has converted and was wondering about setup changes.

Thanks

I've run on astro, and the biggest changes I had to make were to spring rate and roll center. The car really wanted to roll and I was getting a lot of traction rolling and 2 or 3 wheeling.

There is an aluminum version of our +4mm stretch chassis in the pipeline, we put up a web page to start the email waiting list, formal annoucement coming. JD Mora from LRP has been doing some testing along with some of our NorCal and Vegas drivers. We had enough requests for this product, we decided to offer it.

Geeez. This is a bit ridiculous. You'd think they are machining a part for the Mars rover. It's a little shock cap for a toy car. I would love for the caps to stop popping off so I can enjoy racing my expensive toy. Lol

Yes it sure seems weird that they don't have them yet, but there are options.

You could always get the B5 Composite Caps and Composite Standoffs and that will removing the issue of popping shock caps.

Another alternative is the Aluminum Caps from Serpent, but that can be an easy $50-60 spent on those.

Its too bad PL or Exotek didn't pickup the ball and run with it, they would have been easy to sell upgrades.
