Sorry, that would help wouldn't it. oring/ HB spacer/ clear traxxas spacer/ oring/ orange HB plastic cap. You wont have to cinch the aluminum cap as far. Without the extra spacer you can easily bury the aluminum cap all the way down on the threads and still feel a little play in the shock shaft which lets the air in. with the extra spacer you will get a much better compression of the orings and the shaft isn't nearly as loose feeling.

You guys should try the Durango blue S30 orings. Direct fit drop in on the D413 shock and just as smooth as the traxxas xring and no air leaks or funky shimming needed.

I've tried them both and the Durango orings are the better solution. Just as smooth, alot less hassel.

personally I don't think it's too much difference at all. last time there's a chassis length change, it was B44.1 to B44.2, that's +8mm, and that's barely made a difference in the pro's hands.
Still, it's much cheaper than a stock chassis if you are considering replacing one.

*since the 2015 worlds will be on super high grip astroturf, I kind of think HB may come out with an official aluminum chassis. (even on touring car, aluminum chassis works better on carpet)

Have you drove one with the Schelle Chassis? The only reason Why I asked is because if you did I dont think you would be saying this. I say that because for me even with the stock base setup the Schelle was So so much better. then when I finally got it dialed in it was even better. I know I might sound like I am quoting the Schelle Ad, but it just handles so much better, on top of the speed I can carry in the corners and sweepers. It also jumps better which will help me alot now that outdoor season is here and I run on big jump/air tracks in the MSCS Series. I have a buddy that ran the Avid chassis for about a week and then he switched to the Schelle and swears by it now. overall this is just my opinion and I would never go back to the stock chassis under any conditions

Hey guys my bro was driving his buggy over the weekend and broke the eyelet piece that screws onto the bottom of the shock shaft (112792). I tried finding some for him online but there back ordered still but what I was wondering is if there is another companies part that would work for now to get by ? Thanks for the help

Default exotek machined spur and mounting plate

Just got an email from Exotek and this part looks like it won't be available until later next month according to them.

I couldn't wait and picked one up on eBay from a place in SoCal. Came pretty quick and installed great. Also got the steering rack and the center diff cap.
