I'd have tons of electrons and some primes, I'm curious about the primes.

rebar, electrons, bar codes, dirt webs, and Ions, but if I always buy what everyone else at my track has... Then I'll be like everyone else. I like to be different and experiment.

Remember tires aren't a style thing and it's not advisable to sacrifice lap times for individuality.

True, but if you're not testing and trying new/different things how do you know where that next .3 seconds might be found?

I enjoy tinkering and testing "different" things more than anything in R/C. That's probably why I like FE boat racing so much. Most the time you build your own boat and bend/shape your own props.

On the topic of tinkering and a dash of maintenance.

What is everyone using for shock o-rings and what not?
I just got the kit built about three weeks ago and I can already feel them staring to bind up.. slightly. :/

Hey guys. Thinking of trading for 1 of these and wondering if there are any tips or tricks for it. How is the durability? Etc.

Thank you

Traxxas blue X-rings. Better seal and less bind.

Check out the first page for some tips and tricks. As far as the durability goes....these things are second to none. I haven't seen a car that is close to as tough as these things are, although I haven't seen the X-Ray on anything other than carpet.

Does anybody have a part number for the traxxas rings? I know it was posted on here but I don't think I will be able to find it that far back.

You end up with some bladders and a bunch of e-clips...but some pretty decent sealing rings. And they are fairly cheap.
