Well that is the normal setup with a shorty. What is the problem with wires? Zip tie them, or use small wire channels.

I don't have any close ups of my wiring, but I have two small stick on wire guides that I run the servo wire to esc through under the diff. The transponder is double sided taped next to the motor and all the wires are zip tied together. No issues with this.

This is the best pic I have right now.

OMG installed the schelle chassis today and what a difference i was a full 2 seconds faster than i ever was with the stock chassis, this is buy far the best upgrade you can buy for your D413, and to all you people that think its only bling you clearly haven't tried it, my buggy was so much more flat and stable than it was before it even jumps and lands better than before.

Ran my buddies yesterday while I wait for mine. The car felt great but I can see what people mean but it can be somewhat twitchy. I was still putting down excellent times. Car was better than my yok. I will build mine with the Schelle chassis right from the start.

So far in practice this morning with the Schelle chassis the 413 feels even more planted. I put esc in back, receiver up front and the shorty pack is in the 2nd hole location from front. Threw the buggy on 4 scales and dam near perfect balance at all four corners. So far it feels like I can push it hard in the turns and jumps the doubles flatter or better.

I give a better report after racing today, but so far the best investment for this kit yet.

So after my first race with the D413, I never really liked the shocks. Being a TLR guy I really like the design and how long they last without getting contaminated with dirt. Plus running three TLR cars already I have tons of pistons and rebuild kits already.

I used the TLR shaft and body chart and ordered up what I needed. Using TLR standoffs and they fit without any binding. Not 100% satisfied with rear shocks yet, I think I need to get a short shock body.

Fronts 41.5mm body 44mm shaft
Rear 50.5mm body 48mm shaft

So far much happier knowing the shocks fit better. Yes it's expensive, but I think it's a better setup. Will test next week.

Shogren65, I think that's fairly smart if you are committed to Losi on the other platforms. I'm not a huge fan of the 3.5mm shock shafts for the extra oil they displace but they will be stronger. Smart move IMO.

I've been pretty happy with the stock shocks but I have been using Traxxas X-rings and a vented/bladder build.

So, what is the correct way to mount the HB aluminum shock cap standoffs?
