Is this typical with 4 wheelers or is my car over dampened?

So, I run 7k, 100k, 5k in the diffs, stock springs, 37.5 front oil and 35 rear with associated 2 hole pistons @ 1.6 and 1.7. I'm assuming there's just not enough "spring" in this car? I don't want to hamper the overall handling just to clear a triple but I wonder if my piston/oil/spring combo is too restricting? I followed Tessmans shotgun shootout setup.

I bet you're car is just bottoming out very hard into the jump face and scrubbing all your speed. Hitting at full throttle will make it worse.
This is probably the case, seems like I carry good speed up to the jump and it just falls on it's face coming off. Rolling onto the throttle nets the same distance as hitting it with a run, tells me i'm scrubbing the speed. Thanks for the feedback, i was looking at going lighter oil for more "bounce" but this makes better sense.

Managed to scoop one but I had back orders and got no notifications.
What's the point of a back order if it's first come first served?

For amain, back ordering does not require a credit card, but you do need to complete the order.

I have had two backorders with them, one I got an email and the other I did not. But both times, amain did hold the item even though the site said sold out. For those that did not get notified, just check your back orders and they should be ready for you to check them out and this time you will need to pay for it.

So, I finally got my Exotek Ackerman bar and installed it. Its a quality piece.
-There is zero slop.
-Use a dab of grease to hold the bearing in if they want to fall out during assy.

Somebody said that the rack was binding when screws were tight. I had an idea why even before I got the rack. I was correct and have the fix if you have an issue. The problem is the bearing are supported outer race (installed in the arm) with a .03 gap in between them. When u tighten the screw it pushes down on the top inner race and up on the lower bearing inner race. SO...get yourself six 3x5x.3mm shims (I use Kyosho shims) and use 3 between the bearings in each bore...and tighten away.

Yea. That spacer should have been included. I did the same thing as you.added some small shims to prevent the screw pulling the inner bearing race.

awesome good to know they don't leak if built correctly. Is the car easy to maintain? Looks like it might be a bit tougher to work on than other 4 wheelers.
