I also ordered mine on the 23rd. So I called Tower for an explanation. They said that because I lived in Illinois, that they didn't fill it (they came into Reno). That is so dumb. So instead of filling the back orders, they open it to the public instead. How does that stop someone from another place even further than Reno? Crazy. Again not a priority for me, but annoying.

And now I just got an email that my order has been invoiced and is being picked. So I guess this latest person didn't get some good information. If you look at my previous response, I guess that was the correct answer. They pull aside the backorders, then release the rest. Sometime the back orders need to catch up. At least that is what happened in my case.

Actually these are coming from the Illinois warehouse. Must have just taken an extra day for these to arrive since they were probably unloaded on the west coast.

I've got two braces being shipped out as well.

I'm using blue fronts and yellow rears.

I noticed that Ty used "xgear" orange and yellow at the off road nationals. I assume this is Kyosho. I could not find any spring rate info on Kyosho's web site, just soft, medium, etc. One web site I found indicated that they are stiffer than anything that HPI offers. Which may explain why Ty is not using his sponsor's springs.

Anyone have reliable data on Xgear spring rates?

Look on the first page. You will find the spring charts there.

Kyosho Ultima RB6 & RB6.6 Car Thread
I have a PR of orange fronts or rears (can't recall) that I couldn't find a rate for. I emailed Kyosho and they replied that they don't have that info and maybe I can find them online. Huh???

That is the HPI data, it is easy to find. Wish I had a spring gage.
I have one for my full scale car valve springs but that won't quite get down to g/mm.

I have the orange Kyosho springs, and i dont feel the difference from the HB red. Maybe a tiny little bit but they most be very very close in hardness.
