I back ordered a kit two weeks ago from amain and they shipped it two days ago. If you are looking for one they may be a good choice to order from.

There was a good read on Live RC yesterday about the West Coast Ports workers strikes holding back merchandise. Possibly why things are slow to replenish in stock.

I am interested in buying a D413. Question, what is the part that breaks more often? What is the extra parts that I should purchase?

Get some front arms too. They won't break but they will eventually bend funny and wear to the point that you will want to replace them. Might as well have a spare as who knows if they will go out of stock when you want to change them out.

I haven't broken a shaft or a tower but I did break the plastic ball cup on the bottom of a shock last week. The shock popped off the ball at the tower and I believe it swung around and got caught under the car. Luckily I had a spare plastic shock parts kit so it was an easy fix.

I do have spare front shock shafts though and I plan to pick up a front tower when I catch one in stock at Tower or amain.

I was under the impression people were breaking the front tower brace not the tower itself. Is that correct? If that's the case, I watched a guy break one last weekend. He was running it for the first time and hadn't driven a 1/10 scale car in a LONG time. He was struggling to land a particular jump and when you didn't land it right you ended up kind of cartwheeling into the wall. That will do it.

I've broken two front shock shafts so far. Also broke the carbon fiber servo arm piece.

Both times I broke shock shafts was a result of a dead on hit into another car.
