Yep, I saw the tire types. I thought it was interesting that the Ronnefalk setup looks more like what I would expect for high traction. Low ride height and big sway bars. I think I'm going to go that direction myself. Maybe lean the castor angle back more by adding kickup as that's suppose to make a car easier to drive when traction is high.

Just got mine in the mail today. Didn't think it came because the box I saw was so small lol. Now just waiting on everything else to get here. Can't wait to get this thing on the track.

Been running Ty's Gunsmoke set up and enjoy it...I need just a touch more push so i moved the rear camber link to pos 1#. Felt the shock and seed to bind on the last part of the stoke..Like a bump stop.

I found that the ball cup kisses the camber plate pretty darn good. As you can see I still have a bit of travel left...When i fully compress the shock the ball cup pops.

Just FYI if you plan to use Pos #1.

im running my d413 on carpet I mix of ozite and low pile commercial grade carpet. Im using pin pionts 2 rows cut on the front on on the back with a slightly modified tessman setup and its great . also running goosebumps with good results

How much drag brake should i program into my ESC? 70% OK? I think I read that 100% is hard on the spur gear

I grounded the lower corner edges of my plate so it doesnt hit anymore. Dremel or #400 sand paper will both work.

On clay I run 5%. Some do run a bit more. Not saying its wrong, but 70% sounds crazy for tracks I'm on.

you can always lower the outside as opposed to raising the inside. should help with the binding

In most buggies 5 drag brake is pretty normal. Myself and others I race with use no drag brake or 5 push control on our d413s. The drive train already seems to have a high amount of drag on its own. The push control is to reduce some of the drag.

Have any of you tried the 13.5 T motor on the buggy ? and if so, what pinion would any of you recommend for a medium to large clay tracks?
