nice. but curious, what not user a composite ball like other have done? Is there an advantage to the insert?

I wish they would be in stock by Jan. However, the way HB works 10 pair will be in by the summer and 50 by next Dec...

Then Avid will make enough to cover the entire demand and all D413 owners will be covered then HB will ship 50000 sets....

Praying that I'm wrong because these will see like hot cakes.

i don't know. i don't really follow what others do. the insert system i used is the same one from the D812 and D8T. i figure if it can withstand 1/8 abuse it should be adequate for this car.

I was just curious. I am glad you removed the metal to metal contact though. One nice thing about your design is, it like like the insert "snap" in. The floating balls tend to fall off and I chase them around the floor, lol.

nice....unless they are relatively cheap and easy to get after a while....ill just keep my B5 caps. One thing i dont mine spending money on the buggy because you rarely buying spare parts. lol

Is there someplace that these caps can be ordered? I don't see them even listed on tower or any of the other major online sites?

Great idea again Torrence. I just checked my oldest D8 (pre Hara) and no play in the shock cap.
