Kit went together well. Love the manual and the way the bags are arranged. Lots of slop in the kit! Put Ty's carpet set up on and went to my carpet track and the car was way way to soft in the rear end. I went to 2x1.6 pistons front and rear. Gonna try it out this weekend! Car seems solid. Also had to put Orings in the center drive cups. 4 total. Lots of play in the dogbone.

That play in the dogbone stops it from plunging into the cups when the kit flex's.

In the Tekno SCT410 thread someone mentioned that this kind of play also reduces wear on the cups. The pins aren't always in the same spot where they will create a groove. Sounded pretty reasonable to me.

Did you drive it stock first, then rebuild with the carpet setup? I'll be running mine for the first time Saturday at my local carpet track. Which manufacturer Pistons and shock oil did you try? Any other setup info would be great! Thanks

the kit setup blows imo. start with Ty's reedy race setup.

Is the carpet track high grip? What tyres? Ronnefalk setup is on petitrc.com he's running with the avid chassis as well.
Mines similar but with AE purple F and AE white R. 1.8 arb

Depends on your track or type of track.... if dirt I would recommend TYs Reedy Setup like Wildcat mentioned. Its a great starting point and the car is a blast to drive and learn.

one package will do two shocks. includes aluminum caps, bleeder screws, bladders, standoffs, cap bushings, and mounting hardware.

the standoffs are 1/8 scale style, in fact the cap bushings are the same units used in the D8 series cars.
