Default whats up with the front shock tower breaking.

So, what is up with the front shock tower being backordered everywhere? Must be a lot of people breaking them for it to be so in high demand. This sounds familiar (AE B44.2/3 breaking front shock towers). I thought this buggy was suppose to be super strong as that was part of the marketing campaign. I haven't broken mine yet, and sorry for sounding like im a hater (love the car overall), but I just want to break through the hype and get to the truth.

I have 2 of these buggies and have literally beat the hell out of them this summer outdoors and did not break a single part. How's that for hype and the truth. In the right hands any car can break. No car is bullet proof BUT this buggy is as tough as they come.

I broke 2 rear mounts no fronts. The rear mount holds both the wing and the rear shocks so the little ears that hold all that stuff snap off.

I know I need to work on my jumps. or should I say landings?

i have noticed a some of the parts that were in stock a few weeks back are no longer instock. My guess is that the ppl that finally got their hands on the kit are ordering spares.

Not sure if everybody notice the comment on Ty's carpet setup. Look at the top, where he mention the Avid chassis.

For all our talk here about how bad the stock shock caps are and how badly we need to replace them, it is interesting to see Ty post a pic of his cars and he is using the stock caps. Probably just for this race, but even he is using them again.

I got my avid chassis on. Very nice fitment and finish. I thought I would throw her on the scales. 1796 with nothing to lighten the car aside from running a shorty. I have a porky 35g wing also. cant wait to try it on some high this week

Those could be newer prototypes, unless he specifically said that they are the originals.

Ok I'm on post390 and still going. Got my kit Monday and finished it in a few days, thought it was a pretty easy build except:
Body posts, I look at picture and grab the bag, BUT front is smaller than real, I put them on backward so had to dissamboe to correct.
Front nose, wtf don't they warn you that you have to remove the towers, ya you can twist and bend from the sides, just hope that you haven't scored it. Also test fit, since the nose and body go through the same post you might have to trim it. I had to slightly trim font, rear and wing, for some reason it hits the tower and screws.
Arm braces are odd and a tad tricky to screw in
So here is my question on shock caps. I tried drilling out the valve and.... The drill went straight through the other side. I was expecting to feel the channel that would intercept the valve, but when I looked at my caps, they don't have that one. Have caps been changed, or do I have to drill fron the center up as well.
Oh what tires are ok for indirect clay track SDRC . On my 22 I use suburbs or dirt webs

So, I moved my esc back behind the motor. I have been wanting to try that out for balance and because it makes the electronics install nice. Anyone else tried this on bumpy high bite?

How does your setup compare with Ty's reedy setup, which is suppose to be easy to drive also.

Default Exposed wiring

Just pulled the trigger on a D413. Really tough decision between this and a 2015 Xray XB4. The XB4 with comparable setups (center diff and arm stiffeners) would've been a way more $$$ -- besides reading through 400+ pages in a weekend the D413 seems like this is a wise decision and a step into next gen buggies.

Anyways I've gone through wiring / layout examples on other sites and want to know how y'all are handling wires from ESCs and Servo? In other words, how do I keep exposed wiring secure and neat looking?
