Mine will be up and running next week hopefully ! It's going to be a new track layout but Bob let me take a few laps with his Durango Friday last week 3rd lap I came in a little hot on the straight and didn't tap the brakes to slow down and I hit the jump and went right into the wall and broke his arm. I can't wait to get mine up and running. I need some track time before I race with you guys though !

I have no idea which one is your car. But full speed into a flat right hander will traction roll if the traction is decent. Most of the drivers are coming in hot, braking in a straight line before the corner and then entering the turn. We had something like this at my track. I had to run a more gradual entry to the corner. because a hard turn even at lower speeds was too much. The Ty reedy setup did help the car slide more and not turn in sooo hard. The kit setup was so aggressive, even at slower speeds my car would flip.
On that video I'm the one starting second to last and finishing 5th. Luis is my name . But my main track is Dirtheaven which is a tighter faster track. On the dirt heaven video I'm in the b main, I got bump down

It would have to be another HPI/HB rig to break the D413.

Do any of the Avid pistons fit the 413?

Does the D413 kit come with extra blank pistons so that I can drill the # and size holes? Or, do I need to pick up the Shock Piston Set (#112790) which includes the blank pistons? I'm assuming that HPI doesn't offer the predrilled 2 hole 1.6/1.7 yet.

Avid alu chassis ordered with the floating servo mount. For those of you that did not signed up to be notified, your next chance will be in 15 days.

First drive e with the buggy tonight, what a handful it was. Very edgy.
Small track with tight sharp turns. Carpet + slicks with additive.

Previous owners setup.
Black arb f+r
F 4x1.3 700 gold
R 4x1.4 350 yellow
8-50-8
6.5 motor with 23 pinion too much so I'll look at a lower T motor as well.

On power the arse wants to overtake the front and the front hooks on the way out not helping this.
I haven't gotten to terms with all the toe and kick up etc so I'll get back once it's written down.
Any suggestions from what's given?
Thanks

I have never raced carpet. But those hole pistons might be a bit soft for carpet. You also might need to go up in springs. HB red in the front for sure. Petite RC has some astro setups, not sure if that gets you closer. I goilg go much higher in center diff oil. 100k min, but probably closer to 300k for carpet

Busted an internal front diff gear...bummer / hopefully it's an isolated issue.

I am sure it is isolated. I have not heard of this happening. I have not had that happen and I run on high bite and drive the car hard.
