Does anyone have the weight of a front D413 arm? With and without the plastic/CF stiffner.

I would say try one on the Petitrc setups, there's a couple for astro turf high bite and there's a couple of TYs on Clay w/sugar very high bite. I really think you should look into the 2x1.6 pistons. Maybe start 37.5F 32.5R, maybe even step up to 40F & 35-37R
Thanks for the advise. Saturday is test day. Been looking at the Avid 2x1.6/1.7mm, but read earlier in this thread that it's a bad fit.

I kinda wonder if 4 pole motors are the future of 4wd buggy. I kinda think a 4 pole 17.5 motor would be idea for SC 2wd racing. Truck are kinda heavy for a 2 pole wimpy motor.

I am running a GEN2 5.5t in my buggy now and am looking to run a little cooler. Theory would suggest this motor SHOULD run cooler (the PRO2). I drive pretty hard and after a 10 minute main my motor is 200+ degrees with a 19 tooth pinion.

I made a "vent" just after the motor mount, right above the motor in my body. that dropped temps 30 deg. Infact, I ran my car till LVC last weekend and came off at 125 with a 6.5 motor. My shorty was a little warm, but otherwise I liked the vent a lot. I made a "U" shaped incision, then bent the lexan up to for a little air dam, to force air onto the motor. It worked so well, I plan to do the same thing to all of my MM style cars. Also, I am running a 24t pinion with my 6.5 on high bite.

Curious, have you ran it since changing fluids or is that from drop test only.... I would still say try out in practice session and could always change or tune thru day.

Kind of a generic question, but are these cars popular in the region that you (any of us) race? I am in western PA and there are only 2 or 3 of us that have it. I know they were hard to get for a while, but curious about down south or out west

No havent tried it on the track yet, but still it feels a little soft. Haven't raced for at little over a week, so just wanna have as much race time as possible without fixing things all the time, - but i guess that's just a part of the game.
