Sweet, perhaps by the time I'm back in the US the majority of the new car kinks will be worked out.

I was just in the ZX6 thread and those guys seem so butthurt by the lack of drivers in the A.

no, it's just some idiot butt hurt about everything in life. i had the same guy in the yokomo mr/rs thread bitching about his build.

i talked to tebo about his performance and he said he was having problems with his speedo. he switched to another unit only to be plagued again. other than that the car looked stellar on track and he really likes it.

The people that should be butt hurt are the AE guys. Even the cars that did do well ARE NOTHING like the kits they come with. At least Kyosho and HB ran cars that pretty much were the kits with maybe a few mods. Holy cow the 2wd and 4wd AE cars would take someone another $200+ to modify them just to get them competitive.

Oh wait I am running all AE stuff and butt hurt. That's why I really think I am going with this car when it comes out.

This is my 4wd car if it comes out soon! but I agree with it being insane that the AE cars need 200 in mods to run MM

That would just makes them still cheaper than Kyosho $ so not such a big deal. Amain has the B4.2 kit with the C4.2 conversion (2 options) for $370 K-car is $450, so what's the big deal. Yok is $330 and TLR 2.0 is $350, so should not be butt hurt at all. (sorry for the off topic but just stating facts)

Back to the HB,, this will definitely be my comeback to the class. Love the design specially how it seems to be a durable design without compromising performance. Can't wait to get one.

I think the best feature second to it being so durable it appears are the gear diffs. Very similar to the VE8 1/8th scale. I owned that car for quite some time and man the gear diffs were amazing.

Question: are those the arms (solid) that are coming in the kit or were those just some prototypes? I am a little scared to have arms that are indestructible. Just means something else up the chain will break or bend and that could be tougher to fix/replace. Having said that I am excited to see anything more durable then the front arms on my B44. You can break one of those by just landing wrong. Hell I think I cracked one because I looked at it wrong.

I don't want to de-rail the HB conversation so I will stop but I was referring mostly to the 4wd winning car as this thread is about a great new 4wd.

As I understand the arms you can tune them for more or less flex depending on the plate you put on the top side. I assume for max flex you can run with the plate off. Really a lot of features in this car that many other manufactures may in some fashion try to adopt down the line. Shorty packs, center diff... just another level compared to most offerings.

That sounds sweet.

Thank you. This way I can run it this year instead of waiting until September 2014 for next season.

The arms on the D413 are basically mini D812 arms with the ability to change the insert with plastic or carbon to suit needed flex. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...01p??&I=LXDBVY

Well lets hope they are not $16 a set. That would be about 3X the price of AE front arms.

Those are the D812 arms to give you an idea of what they will look like on the D413
