Funny you say that, I have had a 22-4 since january and it is by far my favorite wheeler to date. I have only broke one front arm on the car and if it wouldnt have broke it would of sheared the whole front of the car off it was a tough tumble for sure. Like I said i love the D413 and ill prob get another one in a few months. There was so many people wanting the car that they cant get (GO FIGURE) that i figured i would make some ones day by selling it to em. If I had more time to test and tune the car i would of kept it. By the way WILDCAT, I tried the 2x1.6 in front and 2x1.7 in the rear like ty runs and I did not like it all.

lol. so I came home and took the springs off and took a picture. When I looked at the picture they looked gold. But with inside lighting they looked silver. So then, I held them under a white led lamp....and they look gold. I guess the silver flakes in the metallic paint make them look silver in some light. So anyway, I think I have the kit springs. now I know where to start

Hey guys, I am running the usual 2x1.6 and 2x1.7 pistons and I'm having issues with this car still being really soft and lacking pack. I even ventured up to 45 and 40 wt shock oil just to try to stiffen this thing up a little bit. Is anyone else having these issues? I dont want to purchase the 20 dollar a set Kyosho springs that Ty uses if that wont solve my problem... Thanks for the help.

What kind of track are you running that you need it stiffer? What's is the buggy doing?

I also felt the car lacked pack. But 4wd normally does. I went up in oils and now I plan to go up in springs. I m using 1.3x4 with 42.5/37.5 oils and I plan to goto AE white rears and red fronts. if that is not enough, I will try AE grey rears and AE yellow fronts. And maybe go up to 40wt rear

Word is RCshox.com will be releasing his two stage pistons soon. He just got a D413 to start testing prototype parts soon and pistons are usually the first things that gets released.

I tried his pistons in my b5. They bound up in the shock body, so I had to toss them

Your not the first person that has run into this as i did also until i learned how the shock needs to be built up. The two common mistakes is not running lite enough oil and you must build the shock with zero rebound. I run as lite as 200 cst rear and 275 to 325 front on almost all my cars with his pistons. It may sound crazy but the lighter oil allows for much faster return but still has more than adequate pack.

Most likely if you had binding you had to much rebound and or to heavy of a oil. This is commom with not only rcshox pistons but also the mip bypass.

no, I mean it was rubbing the inside of my shock body and would not even go up all of the way with the shock cap off.
