It is not out yet. I heard about 30 days from now. I plan to be one of the first to get it I cant imagine it will cost more than the $130+ for the kit chassis, lol. Screw that.

Also, a local is making chassis protector for the d413. There was a post several pages back. Here is the link http://www.lg1designs.com/

If you search, they have a website with an online store front. They are showing 1 in stock right now. So grab that one and have it shipped to you. Shouldn't be a problem.

I think having at least one spare of things that you think might break is a good idea. As others have said, things are in stock right now. Like Tower seems to have almost everything. So order them up and if you do break something then order a couple more. But even if it doesn't break, the part will eventually wear out and you can use it then.

Personally, shock caps and front arms are good to have. Even though they are not breaking, they are bending and will eventually need replacing. I would recommend gluing the arm plate or they will pucker after a few crashes. Also my front CF shock tower was starting to split, but after sealing it with glue, it has held nicely.

Man the only thing that sucks is the kit is 469.00 + $20 to ship...its a hard pill to swallow when the OTD kit price @ Tower ETC is 379.00 shipped. Do yea wait a little longer and pocket the cash or pay the higher price and get to it.

Errrrr decisions...

What non HB springs are you guys using on high bite clay? My car came with silvers and I dont even see those anywhere. I prefer to run AE springs because I know them better.

2 first place Roar electric nationals in a row, 3rd place in IFMAR Worlds (after it got sandwiched between 2 Associated cars and was the only car to continue), 1st at Hot Rod's just to name a few. Not too shabby for a producer that's "not a real racing company".

Hot Bodies is like team Durango to me. The kits are amazing, but the parts support is shyte. I don't care much about the championships, I just want the dang car and parts to be in stock more often than not.

I don’t really see how their parts support is Sh1t. Sure things that got them caught off guard like spurs ..but that’s not uncommon for any manufacture at launch…Main outlets like Amain/tower have parts like no tomorrow…now if the local track/Hobby shop doesn't support the kit…well that isn't a HB thing..I would push that outlet to support the kit..

Now I agree with you on the kits..they are taking wayyy too long to get demand filled and with the AE kit around the corner they might loose sales because of frustration..

Well, not having parts in your local hobby shop is inclusive in the term "parts support". As well as the interval between them running out of stock, and then finally replenishing stock. Both are piss-poor in my opinion. I feel the same way about my Durango. But I still have it because it is great on the track. So for me Hot Bodies is just like Durango; Sweet kits, sub-par parts/kit production.

If I plan to run a Tekin Redline 8.5T motor, which ESC would you recommend: RS Gen2 or RSX?

Thanks.

Slightly off-topic:

What are you guys doing to charge multiple 2S batteries with the tubes in series or in parallel. I don't see many options for a ready-made cable. Do I need to just solder up my own to be able to do that?
