Default Body shell

Has anyone had a chance to compare the handling of HB kit body shell vs Proline TYPE R shell?

im 99% sure you will not find any difference in handling regarding different body styles .

unless, you drive professionally and 5 days a week, even then.

The videos I posted have the proline body on it. I'm not good enough to tell a difference, but works well..

I will start off by saying that ball cup shock caps were a really dumb idea. they are a very poor way to save money. My second time out on the track and a guys spins out in front of me and i hit him there was no avoiding him. Shock pops off that was just the beginning of the night. The inner hinge pins are fragile too. I broke one of those at the threads. So i was able to purchase a pack of hinge pins from a fellow racer. Guess what they don't come with the lock nuts. The lock nuts are not a standard size. No one in the whole building had this size. another Hot Bodies FAIL once these things pop off they are done they will come off if you breathe on them Thanks hot bodies for ruining my race night

The nuts on the hinge pins are a standard size... 2mm, maybe just not a common size, but I found some at the local hobby shop, although they were larger on the outside (larger wrench size) which shouldn't matter.

yeah i should have said they weren't a common size actually a metric size lol They included so much in this kit extra but none of those lock nuts at least they should be included when you buy hinge pins. I honestly would have rather them not include any of the extra sway bars and other extra stuff for better shock caps. They made a bad decision putting those on this buggy.

I had the pleasure of running with evolution03 at the track last night.

His builds always look really good, and he's a very talented driver. I hated seeing him have all the trouble with his car last night, and was pretty disappointed that we didn't get to race more together. Looking forward to racing with you again evo.

I had one rear camber link end fail last night after a REALLY hard smack against the wall. This is my first part I've had to replace so far. I'm enjoying the car a lot. I've become more competitive than ever with the D413. I absolutely love this car, and it's the most fun rc I've ever owned.

Matt you did do really well with the buggy. I'm not planning to race much inside over the next few months. Im hoping X-ray releases a new buggy with the center diff they are working on. We are finally getting to see the weak links in this buggy.

my first outing with this buggy went good. Second outing broke hinge pin rear camber link and shock caps popped off. They knew the shock caps were bad or Ty would have been running them. The wreck he had getting sandwiched between maifield and cav the caps would have popped no doubt. Hotbodies chose to send the buggies anyways and it took them forever.
