how do you seal the carbon fiber shock towers or other carbon fiber parts? what happens if you do not seal them?

If you don't seal them, the edges could delaminate from contact with other objects.

Thanks! The lexan I used didn't come from the D413 (it was left overs from a 0.8mm MP9 body). On the D413 there's excess lexan on the side pods and the wing, so you can probably use that. I made a little paper template first and then looked for a lexan piece where it would fit.

My tower kit preorder just got pushed back till late July now aswell, I have it preordered with Amain aswell, not sure where I am in the quey but well see, don't feel so bad about the zx6 turning up at my doorstep today now......I'll still buy this kit and see which one suits me best.

not only that hes asking 479 on ebay... no thanks Ill get an xb4 until hpi figures their shit out, kinda sucks because I was really excited about the d413, to me it looked like a buggy that tekno would make with 3 gear diffs and really durable, woulda been awesome. Ill wait it out

I didn't like the price either. My kit on back order with Tower is $390.00. I'm gonna wait for the better price myself.
