Funny you say that cus I sent him a pm saying all that too, he had it up for $800 first, guess I'm going with the XB4

Well another race. Another dnf. 4 broken shock ends. Ordering them out of the uk is very time consuming and expensive. Plus the frustration of continued parts breaking, the same exact part breaking. If its was hitting something hard or doing something to cause the break I could see it once or twice. But 4 times. This last time was clean snap off a jump. No wrecks, no pipe clipping just landed then go around a corner over a little rhythm section and pops out. Pull it off snapped right clean. Always the front. Don't remember if its one side more than the other. The shock ends need to be captured in the arm. Sitting out front they are too weak to handle the stress apparently. Had the car for months now and it's been down more than not. Pretty disappointing. May go back to the dingo. Was hoping some aftermarket companies would jump on board for some parts but its not happening. It's too bad too the car could be cool. Lots of innovation but lack of parts factory and hop ups just really isn't there. Going in the shelf again until there are parts in the USA then I will decide if I should keep it or not. Pretty expensive shelf queen though. Rant over lol.

Very excited received my kit from Japan today with superfast international delivery (Australia). It's the first time I have seen in a manual where the shocks are built first.

I run on a low traction bumpy surface. I was thinking of trying some 1.6+1.1 pistons. Has anyone made a set to try out?

A few weak points I've found are the spur gear, the gaskets and the ball cups on the rear hub inside part have broken twice. Out of spares now. Keeping fingers crossed parts won't be an issue soon.

Can anyone recommend a good quality, high rpm 30x30 fan ? Possibly post some links ?

Thanks

Is anyone having the front sway bar links pop off at all? I know it's probably because of the bigger bar I run. Just wondering if some one has fond an alternative that attaches horizontally instead of vertically?

So I am sure everyone has checked that Tower has now pushed parts to early July. I am at the point where I don't even want this buggy anymore. As much as I love it, parts support is the deal breaker for me. I hope the HPI/Hot Bodies guys are on here reading how everyone is frustrated with parts support.

HB parts supply has been an issue for a year now so I doubt much will change very fast until they get their business in order
